Manns Choice Church Of God

Manns Choice Church Of God in Manns Choice PA. recently completed a church renovation project that included an upgrade of their sound system. We were contacted by Pastor Whetstone to design a system that will provide for highly intelligible speech, as well as high sound pressure levels for the praise and worship band.

ATS was retained to reconstruct the physical attributes of the building using EASE software. In addition, we were to catalog existing equipment to determine if and how the existing equipment could be incorporated into the new design. Recommendations were provided along with a list of additional equipment that would be needed.

After completing the room modeling, Church representatives met with Bob Capotosto of ATS. Three options were presented and the decision to proceed with a single Xi 1123 flown main speaker along with two QRx 118s subs was made.

This particular choice provided alcons with a minimum of four for the entire seating area.
The direct sound pressure levels were also favorable.

The entire sound system was based around the Electro Voice DX 38 speaker management system. Electro Voice also manufactured the amplifiers.

Bob Capotosto of ATS utilized Smaart Live for time alignment and system tuning.
