...:::EASE Training:::...
During early November I had the opportunity to attend an EASE seminar
hosted by Kent Peterson at the Telex Communications headquarters in
Burnsville, Minnesota. The session included two intense days of hands
on EASE training. Bob Coffeen, professor of acoustics and engineering
at the University Of Kansas, taught the session.

In addition to the training, I toured
the new research and development facility. This facility allows for
the complete design, testing and evaluation of sound system components
on one of the largest anechoic chambers in the world.
Adjacent to the anechoic chamber is a
2300 square foot training/testing facility known as “Telex Academy”.
This facility also designed by Bob Coffeen not only provides customers
with an accurate critical listening room to personally audition new
loudspeakers, system accessories and components, it also serves as a
environment that allows confirmation and redefinition of existing products.
